Dear Ms. Shellard,
This is a third party authorization letter from this company declaring Ms. Julie Scott as the associate editor for a week effective December 1, 2010.  The company is granting third party authorizatin to Ms. Scott in the absence of Mr. Thomas Acton who will be out of the country on the said dates for an important event.  As such, Ms. Scott will be taking over some of the responsibilities of Mr. Acton including coordination with your office which during his absence.
The specific duties Ms. Scott will be authorized to conduct are listed in the attachment.    Upon Mr. Acton’s return, Ms. Scott will revert to her position as news editor.
